I hope I am not breaking any list rules by posting this. I thought it might
be of interest to some. I took a genealogy class at this site several years
ago and it was pretty good!

Genealogy Course Added to Winter Calendar [1]
---------------------------------------------------------------------
By popular demand, we've added a Basic Genealogy course to the Winter
Calendar! Everyone has ancestors, and this new course introduces the
novice to scholarly genealogical research into their family history.
Students will explore the who, what, where, why and how of genealogy.
Using family records and traditions, students will learn how to tap
resources, locate and evaluate records, organize research materials,
and share their findings. Instructor Mary Clement Douglass has taught
genealogy for over 20 years and is a Certified Genealogical Records
Specialist.
