Rita I'm trying to find more information on my greats parents. My great ggg
William Patton was born 4/21/1761 Chester?PA. Had a brother John both were
farmers and teachers, both served in Rev. One of my relatives joined the
DAR., I have a copy of application. His father was also William Patton a
professor or school teacher who settled in where the three states came
together and near the river, mother unknown. The son was in the Brandy wine
100 area and owned land there married Susanna Lewis, daughter of Alexander
Lewis, from there. Living here in the NW makes it difficult to search for
information as there are so many William Patton's. Thanks for any help, Pat
Adams
