183. Deed. 18 May 1739. RICHARD GRAFTON of Town & Co. of New Castle,
merchant, and MARY his wife, for the sum of 147 pounds sold unto JOHN FINNEY
of st town & Co., chyrurgeon, a messuage or tenement land & marsh situate
lying below sd town, containing 17 acres 112 perches. This is whereas sd
Grafton by sundry Deeds of instruments of writing aquired sd property. That
is one Deed Poll from WILLIAM READ, late Sheriff, dated 19 May 1730 (Liber
J/pp 322); and a indenture of Lease & Release from GILBERT FALCONAR dated
1/2 May 1731; and one indenture by Order of Orphans Court made by ELIZABETH
EYRE, widow and Admin. of all which were of ROBERT EYRE, her late husband,
dated 30 Oct 1732, a messuage and land and marsh situate lying below sd town.
