Hi Mary,
Nice to hear from you!
I know what you mean about "our accent."
When I used to visit my cousins in NYC & the Bronx -- they would
ask me if my passport was in order. Boy, did they have nerve! :)
Happy hunting, Helen (DCGS)

<< Hi Helen,
I didn't know you were up in Delaware County. I lived there when I
was in school, outside of Philadelphia. People can still tell I lived
there because of my accent.
When my mother moved down here(Alabama) with me she brought my
mother's trunk and pictures. So we have several pictures of
unidentifiable ancestors. One was taken in Chester and looks very
similar to my mother's father. But who could really say. And that is
the trouble, a picture without a name that may be grand dad's mother. I
wish I had the ability to go to Chester County for research.
Think that same story is very familiar to people in genealogy work.
Best regards,
Mary in Alabama >>
