I have posted to a few Wilson researchers directly, but there seems to be
enough activity that I should post to the board. I am looking for the
parents and/or siblings of Sallie (Sarah?) C. Wilson 10/31/1839 -
1/26/1919, married abt. 1860 to Allen William Ruth. They lived at least
their adult life in Wilmington. They are buried in Riverview Cemetery,
close to Amos Wilson 4/15/1844 - 6/18/1907 and Mary E. Wilson (probably his
wife) 1/2/1847 - 2/9/1923 so Sallie may be Amos' sister. Does any body
know of the relationship?

TIA

I also have a William Wilson in New Castle Co.
William Wilson 12-6-1793 died 7-9-1870 married to Clarissa Talley
children: Hannah 1814, Mary 1816, Norris 1818 (my branch) married to Martha
Bradley, Martha 1820, Louis 1823, William 1826, Sarah 1829, and Ellen 1831.

I have never had any luck finding the parents of William. All I know about
him was that he was a Quaker. Family history has it that the Wilson's who
owned the Wilson Boat Line were cousins.
