My line goes back to Hans Jorgen Smidt/Smyth/Smith who arrived around
1718-1720 to the New Castle area. He was the second husband of Maria Stalcop
VanDever and was married probably in Sweden. He had sons Tobias, Petter, Fredrick and
maybe others. Is there a connection?
