I noticed your posting about Godfried Lund and thought I'd look in a
book I have about Luck Wisconsin which includes some info on the Bone
Lake area. The book only lists one O.W. Lund born in Denmark 7-24-1862
son of Hans and Henrietta Lund. He came to America in 1882 went to Cedar
Rapids Iowa, then to Minneapolis Mn,then to Luck and started the weekly
newspaper. He married Margaret Beck of Denmark. They had 4 children,
william, henrietta, Thora, Harold. There were, I'm sure more Lunds but
this book only listed this one. There is a lot of history of the area
including the Bone Lake area.That area is a large Danish community. They
still have Aebleskiver dinners at the West Denmark Church once a year. I
live 18 miles from Luck and my husband was born in Luck. Bone Lake is
about 6-10 miles outside of Luck. Darlene
