Hi Sue

In some cases Arkivalier has images of both books, look for duplicated date
ranges.

This is what I wrote on 24 November.

There were two copies of the church books - the main book (Hovedbog) kept by
the priest and the copy book (Kopibog) kept by the dean. These two books
were kept in separate places in case of fire etc. For a number of reasons
they did not always coincide chronologically. It pays to look at both books
as sometimes there is information in one that is not in the other and the
handwriting in one may be better than the other.
