Hi,

There has been - and still are - a lot of problems with
Arkivalieronline. One of the problems is the slow connection (only 2 Mb)
which causes the connection to be very slow when a lot of people are
trying to use it. Another problem is the GEM-button, which disappears
after a few GEM-operations. There has been a 24-hour counter put on the
GEM-button, to limit extensive use of Arkivalieronline. Normally it will
allow you to save 25 pages in 24 hours. This does not seem to work
according to the plan.

We have been told that the arkivalieronline database will be moved to
another place/a faster connection in the near future, but no date has
been announced yet. So we all have to be very patient...

Hi Randa,
I am using the same system as you and find that I need to enter a number
higher or lower than the page number I require in the 'nummer' box and
then click on the appropriate up or down arrow.

Last evening after downloading a couple of pages the Gem button
disappeared for the rest of the session but it re-appeared today. I
can't figure that out.

Hello List! I have not accessed the Akrivalieronline site for quite
sometime and I know they have changed a few things, but I was able to
login again with no problem. A message appeared to download Macromedia
Flash Player. After that I selected 1855 Købstad & Vejle & Vejle
Kobstad and get a screen with Opslag nummer 1, a down and up arrow, af
124 in the left corner and gem and print on the right. I have tried
pressing enter, change to another page number and enter, hit gem and
nothing seems to work (except with I hit the zoom, I get an error and
print will work). I have win xp sp2 - turned off the pop-up blocker,
but it seems that the images are blocked. I redownloaded the flash
player from yahoo's website and it displayed that it installed
successfully. Any ideas? Thank you as always!
