I have the Fourth Edition and it's very helpful in some ways, but I have
some questions about the List of Parishes (that makes up most of the first half
of the book).

It gives a short list of abbreviations in the introduction, but I'm seeing
an awful lot of other abbreviations in the list. Some I can guess at, but can
someone tell us all what these stand for, please?

S. H. (seems to appear before the name of an island)
O (or Ö) appears in front of the name of some districts, also the letters V,
S, and N.H. and N. There are probably a few others that I'm not remembering
right now.
