The word "christening" is a Christen word, right?
I have wondered about non-Christens born in Denmark.
I have been told that they are recorded in the Lutheran
Church records. Is this consider a "christening" by Danes.
What would be the correct English word to use?

I decided when I first began to put my genealogy findings on the computer that I would refer to christenings as those events which took place in Denmark, and baptisms as those events which took place in the US. For me, it made sense.
