Hi Rock,

Well, if the child who died was the eldest child, and they had been
married for 12 years, that could *almost* be made to work ... except for
the J.H Peters photograph.
Let's say the Andersens were initially living in San Francisco ... or
else got the photos taken there when they were visiting the three
Albertsen brothers.
Then, they would need to have a son born (say) 1889, which is when the
Abell & Priest Studio was opened, at 723 Market Street, S.F.
So far, so good ... in fact, that studio stayed open until 1894, so
there is a bit of latitude in there. But where it apparently comes
unstuck is with the photograph of the 3-year-old, because that is
stamped J.H. Peters, 914 Market Street, San Francisco ... and according
to a lister on the CASANFRA-L, Peters moved to Plumas Co in 1890.

(Another source in the archives for that list also says 1890).
So, I am a bit stuck with this one ... unless the first child was
Sidsel's child, born before the marriage (and, in fact, shortly after
she migrated, in 1887).
But many thanks for your search, Rock ... much appreciated :-))
Cheers,
Lesley
