Hello to All!
I have obtained info from another kind, generous researcher that our Jacob
Dennis was the son of a Jacob Dennicus who came to Philladelphia, PA in 1765
from a port in Germany on a ship called "Chance".
While searching the web one evening I can upon a site that verified that a
ship named "Chance" did indeed make several trips from Germany to
Philladelphia, PA - including one in the year 1765 and 66.
But, I was unable to figure out how to obtain more detailed info on that,
i.e. an actual "passengers list" - as I was under the impression that there
was one available.
I would like to see that list, as I have no further info as to his age,
"wife" and "other children" and was hoping that it might provide some clues.
Anyone know?
