DENNIS, Marie S.
NEWINGTON DENNIS, Marie S.
Marie S. Dennis of Newington, formerly of Hartford, died Sunday (Feb. 22,
1998) at Brittany Farms. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Joseph
and Mary (McCormick) Dennis and has been a resident of the area all of her
life. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the Purchasing Department
of Connecticut General Life Insurance Company. She was also Office Manager at
Electrolux for over 30 years. She was a member of the Newington Womens' Club
and the Newington Senior Center. She leaves a brother, James Dennis of Rocky
Hill, and a nephew, Donald McShane of Niantic. The funeral will be Friday,
March 6, 9:15 a.m. from the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road,
Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in Corpus
Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wetherefield. Burial will be in Rose
Hill Cemetery, Rocky Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m.,
Thursday.
