Kay, I believe the Isaac you mention is the son of Owen Corn Dennis. He is
shown in Polk county census for 1850 and 1860 living with Owen. This would
argue that he is not the Isaac that married Mary Dennis in 1857. (Unless he
married at 19 and she died in the time between then and 1860). My records
have the marriage to Mary Elizabeth Cass, but not the second. Some of my
information is from Penny Dennis Holmes (a descendent of Owen C. Dennis
through his son Noah. [], I have sent a copy of this note
to Penny). She has an Aunt that saw the Family Bible of Isaac. Whose family
bible do you mention in your note?
Are you a descendent of Isaac? If so I am very interested in your line from
him. In working with this family, there are so many questions that every
line helps in filling out other lines. Please respond and tell me how you
are related. I am descended from a brother of Owens father. More on that
later.
