John, Yes, I am a member of the Dennis list and of the Dennis family. I do
have the Marie Ray Davis and Mrytle Lundberg book. It is a photo copy of the
original. Marie Ray Davis was my fathers cousin. I visited her in Portland
Ore and I visited the family of Mrytle Lundberg in DeKalb Co, Il. Dad's
mother was Georgianne (Baldwin) Dennis. ( #953) My gg grandfather was George
Washington Dennis (#375) and Phoebe Partridge. I have found the Old Joiner
Cemetery and GW's farm in DeKalb County. My g grandfather was Redford
Dennis (#697) and he was in the Civil War (I have his war records). My
maiden name was Baldwin and I am #1464.

My goal was for this fall to go to Mass, RI, and New York and then stop at
Erie Co (Baldwin side) and do some research. There have been so many new
records available since Marie and Mrytle wrote that book and I would love to
research them.

We have not had DNR tests. I thought that could only be done to the male
members. You said all 5 books are about Robert Dennis and Sarah Howland?
Would it be possible to get the "Robert Dennis of RI" from interlibrary
loan, or maybe the film at the FHC library. Do you know? Where did you get
these books?
