Subject: Untangling the DENNIS' of Douglas and Wright County Missouri

Hey Cuz, I am still trying to untangle the connections of the Dennis' from
the counties of Douglas and Wright in Missouri. My Grandfather was Howard
Edward Dennis born Feb. 15, 1893 in Dunlap Missouri, the son of John R. Dennis
and Sarah "Rebecca" Becraft. John was born in Ky. Son of Jesse Dennis, who
is son of Samuel Dennis and Mary Yocum.
My Grandfather is buried in Van Zant Missouri. He lived in Mountain Grove.
His brother and father are also buried in Van Zant Missouri.
Ken I would like to take this moment to say, I appreciate what you have done
with the list, this list is a very special one to me as several of you know.
Michael you and Jenn have also done a great job on your Dennis Site, I
read it often and have found allot of sharing of infomation. I know I have not
been as active as I would like to be on both, for health reasons, but I
intend to change that...allot of GREAT Dennis reseachers on this list and on
Michael and Jenns web page...had it not been for them (so many wont name them all,
but you all know who you are CUZs) and their sharing of info...I may not
have found my roots my mother searched for all those years and never
found...God Bless you all...
Okay now lets get busy untangling this Dennis Web!
