With all of this activity on the Dennis list.....I am wondering if anyone has
run across my Gr. Grandfather Walter/Robert Franklin Dennis...born sometime
around 1866 in Memphis? Married my gr. Grandmother Ellen Virginia Wright in
Wood Cty., W.Va. around 1889 and died before the birth of his child, my
Grandmother Frankie Mae Dennis B. May 16, 1890 in Jackson Cty, WVA. Frank also died
in Jackson Cty, of Typhus. He was supposed to have been buried in Muses
Bottom, W.Va. He was a lst mate on a steamboat on the Ohio River, and had
traveled extensively. His family had settled in the Cincinnati area and were Irish
Roman Catholic. This is the extent of what I know about him. Any help
appreciated. Please......my most elusive ancestor. Judith Wrinkle
