Quite so Judy, and the core of my own research, amounting to at
least 95% of all that I have, was(and is being) completed without
recourse to emails, web sites, CD ROMS, or reliance upon a single
person on any mailing list to provide the data. Indeed, even at this
great distance, we make the "odd" use of the primary resources
available from LDS FHCs and other organisations or institutions
that hold such records.

I'm personally disappointed in the quality of the launch of the 1901
Census online. However, I'll just pack up my enquiries for some
more months until they sort out the mess, and put my energies
instead into transcribing the 1891 Census for Mansfield and Sutton
in Ashfield NTT for FREECEN.
