I'm just going through my 'oldest' to see if anyone has come across them
recently.

Joseph ROPER is the father of Anne ROPER. He's one of my 4xg grandfathers
and I would dearly love to find out more about him and find his wife. Their
daughter, Anne, married Richard KIRK (the town crier). Anne was born in
1796 in Brampton and baptised on 14th Feb 1796. Where are her
parents....Joseph and ? If anyone comes across them or has a connection to
this family I'd love to hear from you.
