On the census records My G.Grandfather, George SILCOCK was born 1817c at
Eckington Derbysh. I have searched parish records. The closest I have got
was a George SILCOCK Bapt. 1817 in Chesterfield, parents: George and Ann
SILCOCK - abode: Newbold Derby (Colier) I had no such luck checking for
these parents in Newbold. How can I be sure that this is my George? Can
anyone help please.
