Subject: [DBY] BAGNET, BAGNOT

Hi List,
I have recently found a marriage for William GOULD and Ellen BAGNET in
the Foreign Marriages at Peak Forest 1738.
I had been searching for years for this marriage, William Gould is of
Elkstone, Alstonefield, Staffs, so thanks to those who have extracted
the marriages - looks like some of my HATFIELDS might be there as well.
It makes sense, getting out a map - Elkstone is to the NW of Ashbourne
and Idridgehay, Derbyshire, to the NE, Ashbourne was a market town.
Anyone know anything of this register? Is it a separate book? Totally
separate from the filming by the LDS of the Parish Register(I do like to
look at a copy of an original source if possible)?
Anyone researching BAGNOT, BAGNET or similar variations out there?
regards
