I have to say I was surprised by your statement

I was under the impression that freereg was a transcription of the Parish
Register entry

Not a transcript of a transcript

Or are you saying that all marriages from the Parish Registers that
Phillimores cover are on freereg

Not bemoaning freereg just surprised
