Hi Brenda and List-
The above Henry of H (means Henry, son of Henry) as well as William of
William (means William, son of William). Thank goodness they did this
occasionally as there were so many of the same name in these families. It
would have been impossible for us in this day and age to figure out where
they all belonged - it is tough enough as it is!
