Hello to RICARDS researchers,
Our library here in Bridgeville, DE , can be said to have been
founded by Margaret Ricards Cannon. We have a picture of her on the wall,
however, another way of seeing this event is as a project of the Tuesday
Night Club, which helped her to accomplish this feat.
One of her descendants has recently published a three volume set
of research on the family. He has donated a set to the Bridgeville
Library, but also has some for sale for $75 each. He is in Texas. This is
an impressive set, bound in red leather, each volume over 300 pages. I
have not had time to get into them yet.
Of course you may come here to do research. I can do a few
lookups, but we are limited by staff time available to do lookups. Or you
may want to buy your own copy.
