Census records before 1850 did not mention any family members by name, it
was females living in the household between 10-16, etc, up to over 40. So
very little can be found in these, only head of households name, how many
males, females were living in the house at the time and in what age group,
and possibly line of business, I think its mfg., etc . and what area.
Here is a census site for Delaware http://censuslinks.com/Delaware/ and
here is Tax Lists for Sussex http://hometown.aol.com/jacklyn001/taxlist2.htm
Here is what little I have- 1680 Census, Cedar Creek Hundred
Robt Hart, 3 in family; upon Joseph Cowdree plantation, 3 in family; Mr,
Bowman, 2 or 3 in family; Geogre Collens, on SHackelys plantation; Jno
Curtis 4 in family; Jno Richardson 6 in family; Thomas Groves 2 in family;
Thomas Heiffer 2 in family; Alexander Ray 2 in family; Thomas Williams and
John DeShaw 2 in family.
