ELIJAH INSLEY was born in Dorchester County, MD about 1775. He was married
in Dorchester County on August 5, 1799 to RACHEL W. LOWE. The couple was
living in Sussex County, DE by 1830. ELIJAH INSLEY died in Sussex County in
1843. Children include ELIZABETH TURPIN INSLEY who married EDWARD WILSON in
Sussex County on July 20, 1831 (according to the family Bible).

Other POSSIBLE children of ELIJAH and RACHEL LOWE INSLEY include:

ARDELIA INSLEY who married ENGLISTON BANNING
JACOB INSLEY who married ELIZA BRINSFIELD
HENRIETTA INSLEY who married ELIJAH HASTINGS
JAMES INSLEY.

I think that ELIJAH INSLEY may have migrated from the area of Dorchester
County that includes TAYLORS ISLAND along CHESAPEAKE BAY. In Sussex
County, he lived in the BRIDGEVILLE area.
