Deed. 06 Dec 1774. Refers to 300 acres of land - part of which, 100 acres,
was conveyed by deed dated 10 Feb 1726 from Charles Cade to Arthur Johnson.
John Hamilton, son and heir of Agness Johnson, widow and admx. of Arthur
Johnson, conveyed the 100 acres by deed dated 02 May 1739 to John Brice.
Land was located in Broadkill Hundred near Coolspring Branch.
Deed. 10 Feb 1726. From Charles Cade, yeoman, of Sussex County, DE to Arthur
Johnson, cordwainer, of same, for 27 pounds, 100 acres of land northwest
side of Cold Spring Branch.
Deed. 08 Feb 1722/23. From Archibald Smith, merchant of Lewes, to Arthur
Johnson, farmer of Sussex County, for 11 pounds, 210 acres of land situated
at the head of Laws Ponds which proceeds out of Bracy's Branch, called
"The Glade." Land was sold at vendue by sheriff to Arthur Johnson.
