Hello,

You are correct. When there is a surname that has zillions of entries, I have
been just summarizing. A to B means marriage, a christian name alone usually
means death, but could also mean administrator of estate, someone died at their
house, etc. I can send you the whole extract, if there is someone that seems
likely. Keep in mind that most of the listings seem to be from the first half
of the 1800's.

BENSON-Catharine, James H. to Louisa Rumford, Joseph to Mary Crockett, Mary to
John Coulter.

BENNISON - Maria M, Martha A, Thomas.

FREEMAN - Amos to Hannah Clinton, John to Mary Cronsberry, John to Mary
Robinson.

POWELL - Barring to Caroline Bayard, DeVeaux, Elizabeth, H.M., Henry Baring,
John Hare, John to Lydia McKee, Martha to Hiram Hess, Mary to Samuel Patterson,
Sarah to Edward Tunnell.

Best Regards,
Karen Stezowski
Researching Bryan (Brien, Bryant, Brian), Sheppherd, and Bennett in DE.
