In a will book I found the following:

for a copy of a will write STATE OF DE,DIVISION OF CULTURAL AND HISTORIC AFFAIRS,HALL OF RECORDS,DOVER,DE 19901

There is a mention of Moses Gordy in a land record book
1769-1782
Daniel Tree,Sussex Co.,yeoman,from Ann Gawdy,Sussex widow and extx. of last will of Moses Gawdy. 30 Mar 1776. Said Moses by a bond dated 22 Aug 1772 obligated himself to Daniel Tree for L100, to convey parcel called Gawdys Delight,75 acres, beginning north of the White Oak Swamp near a tract surveyed for John Williams. Wit: David Train, J. Russel, Within deed ackn. 30 Mar 1776

Another one mentions Moses Gorday(Gordy) Senr of Worcester Co.,MD Daniel Tree was from Worcester Co. also.
This was a part of De that was claimed by MD at one time.
