A week or so ago you led me to a site south of Laurel, DE-- a map that has
the word Bacons, and I am wondering if Bacons is a road or cemetery? And did
you mean that you had seen a name or names that I have listed in bold below my
signature? Your 'Subject' heading said 'cemetery - HASTINGS'.
I am particularly looking for
1 - James HASTINGS - d. 1833 and wife Alafare (sp diff. in different places),
d.1840s. Her father was John BENNETT, according to Will of James Hastings.
2 - Obadiah HASTINGS, d. between 1820-1830 - disappeared from census records
after 1820, also his unknown wife, who I think must have died bef. 1790, for
he was living alone in Little Crk. Hd. at that time, if I'm not mistaken.
3 - Alafare's father John BENNETT and unknown wife.
I presume there are several HASTINGS cemeteries?
