Hi Mollie,

It sounds like you have a pretty large database compiled of the Knowles clan. I have my husbands family back to William Knowles (b. abt. 1755) I'm not sure where he was born. He married a Mary Donahu in Maryland during the Revolutionary War. After the war they settled in Augusta County Virginia. I can't seem to get any further back than William. I just wondered if you happen to have him in any of your databases that may link him to "Old Silver Head"?? Just a stretch... LOL.
