In the name of God, Amen, I, Nathaniel Ross of Sussex County in the State of Delaware do make this to be my last Will and Testament.

First - After all my debts, funeral and just expenses of every sort first and deducted out of my personal estate I devise and bequeath unto my loving wife, Sally Ross, one third part of my real and personal estate during her widow hood, but in case she marrys again, I give and bequeath unto her my said wife, Sally the sum of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars per annum for and during her natural life to be paid out of my estate and be a lien on the same lawful money of the United States of America in lieu and care of the aforesaid one third of my estate above mentioned. But in case I neither give, will, bequeath nor devise to her my said wife Sally andy part or parcel of my estate either real or personal.

Second - All the rest and residue of my estate, both real and personal, as will that part of real and personal estate willed and devised as above to my wife upon the condition aforesaid in case she elects not to stand to this will or in case she marrys again I give, devise and bequeath unto my children and to their heirs and assigns forever to be equally divided between them according to the quantity and quality and after the death of my wife the third part of my estate willed and devised to her conditionally that is to say if she elects to stand to this Will and never does marry again or her dower in case she elects to take the same, I give and devise to my children and to their heirs and assigns forever to be equally divided between them as aforesaid.

Third - And I devise and bequeath to any child of mine born after making this Will and to his or his heirs and assigns forever an equal share of my real and personal estate the same as if such child was now in being.

Fourth - My will and desire is that my son Curtis J Ross shall pay to my other children out of his part of the estate the sum of five hundred dollars lawfull money of the State of Delaware which sum is to be equally divided among or between my other children and paid to them as they arrive the males to the age of Twenty One years old and females at the age of Eighteen years old to them and their heirs and assigns. Also my will and desire is that if my son Curtis J Ross, his heirs and assigns should or does ever claim, retain or recover from or out of my estate for any rent or rents on endowments or profits whatsoever which I have or hereafter may recur from or for his property in the village of Seaford given to him by his grandfather that the same sum let it be what it may shall be allowed and deducted out of his share or part of my estate willed and devised to him in the second clause of this will - and the same given equally divided between my other children in additi!
on to what is already given them as aforesaid to them and their heir and assigns forever.

Lastly - I constitute and appoint my dearly beloved wife Sally Ross and my son Curtis J Ross the executors and escausors of this my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set y hand and seal this Seventeenth day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Two.

The words this part of my estate between the third and fourth clause of the Will intentioned beore it was signed. Signed, Sealed, published and discharged by Nathaniel Ross the above named executor of and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his prsesence and sight have subscribed our names or witness thereto.
