Hi Friends,
I have a greats gr. fa. Back named James Gilliland that stated he came
from Christianna Hundred DE about 1789. Can you tell me what county I might
try for records for him back at that time or if anyone on here might have
research data to look up that name there back during that span. We think he
may well have been The Capt. Of the Sappers & Miners in the Rev. War. He
was a learned person & had quite a library of books at the time of his death
in PA.
