Hi - Sending you this copy in case the one posted to the NELMS store site gets lost in the LONG list.

My offer of lookup's is still good for this CD I have! I also have the 1880 US Census & National Index, & 1881 British Census & Vital Records index. -

Hi Laurie - I recently found a wife named Allifair WILLS for my Obadiah/Obediah/Abadiah HASTINGS b. 1750-55. Haven't yet seen the Bible record which a correspondent's son-in-law is purported to have.

I should point out that Obd's son James' marriage is noted as James HASTY to Ally BENNETT in 1815 Sussex Co., DE. [Most later records have her as Alafare, but it has many spellings. She may be related to her mother-in-law ! !]

The immediate HASTINGS family was purported by John Lyon, our Delmarva expert, to have been in that era just north of the DE-MD line right at present town of Delmar.

The area was at that time part of MD. Are Obd and Allifair in the LDS CD that you have as HASTINGS or HASTING or HASTY ? [ In some early census records, ALL the first names of Hastings in other censuses are listed as HASTY.
Thanks for all you do ! ! I haven't even touched on BENNETT or WALSTON. And I see there are a myriad of COLLINS names of which I have another myriad, all to be compared !
