I remembered, since my prior post, that the other extensive history of DE is by Runk. I consulted it extensively back in 1999-2000, when I was frequently visiting the DE State Archives, and can highly recommend it. It's actually much more extensive than the Scharf's history, if I'm recalling correctly. Between it (Runk's is several volumes in length) and Scharf's (which is far fewer volumes, as I recall), there should be some relevant featured Robinson and/or Lingo biographies that they'll be able to copy and send you. (Each of those histories is fully indexed, incidentally, which means they'd also be able to locate any secondary references.) These are invaluable sources not to be bypassed, in the event they DO happen to have any relevant family biographies published in them. Even when a biography is primarily focussing on a specific family line (that may or may not be the one you're descended from), they normally have information going back as far as is known about the fami!
ly in question.
