My ggrandfather Richard TOPE b abt 1852 and his two brothers Samuel b abt
1841 and William b abt 1846 immigrated to Canada from Devon 1868-1872. A
sister Mrs. Brooking remained in Devon and was still alive in 1920. William
may have married in Devon before 1868 but his wife appears to have died
before he came to Canada. I have not found the family in Devon.

I am interested in all Tope information since this seems to be a
relatively rare surname.
