Dear all,
The UKBMD web site has just had a fairly major update.
Throughout the time that the site has existed in its current
format, the database behind it has had the ability to classify each
link under only one heading. This has meant that many useful
bits of information may have escaped your attention.

I've now updated the database and associated software so that each
link can now have multiple classifications, and reclassified
each link. In doing so, I've revisited all the sites linked
and found that more and more have on-line census transcriptions.
So, I've broadened UKBMD's horizons and added a further menu
button on the left that simply lists sites which contain census
data. As before, if you select a particular county, sites
that offer census data for that county will still be shown
there. The end result, I hope, is that you stand more chance
of finding useful information !

Several new sites have been added too.
