Hi Diane,

I'm not sure whether our families are related or not, but I've often thought that the NYC families must have had connections. I've "known" Henry the plasterer for many years!
Our Richard Dewhurst was born in Chorley, Lancashire, ENG in about 1817. His father James had been born in Blackburn.
Richard and his first wife came first to Lowell, MA then by 1869 to Manhattan. They lived downtown Manhattan (7th Street was one address) After Richard died, his 2nd wife moved to Brooklyn (Greenpoint area)

I'm away from home right now, but will look and see what bits of info I have about Henry. Maybe we can find a connection if we look again.
