If you do connect with someone with information for your William, I was wondering if you would keep me in mind for a possible link to my gggrandfather--Joseph DICKEN, who was reportedly born in TN approx. 1815. He eventually migrated to Pope County, IL and married Elizabeth HOLT in 1840. I've never been able to find information on his parents.
