Bjerkoe calls Mary Disbrowe the wife of "Obadiah Spencer, Jr." who was the son of Obadiah Spencer (which I recall as correct). However, I have tried to find my Spencer genealogies from Barbour to verify this generational leap as Mary's husband, ...she dau. to Nich., he as "grandson" of Nicholas Disbrowe's colleague: Thomas Spencer (on Founder's Monument w/ Nich as first settlers). I cannot find my papers on this Spencer family right now to check. Perhaps someone can verify which Spencer generation is involved as Mary's husband. Thanks...
