I have tested for HVR1 and HVR2 and there are 1281 matches for HVR1
and 12 for HVR1 and HVR2. I have looked at the cost of the FGS test
with familytree DNA and it seems prohibitive. Can anyone tell me if
it is worth the expense and what additional information it might
provide given the very limited matches that U ave for HVR1 & HVR2. I
think that they refer to this as the mtDNA Full Sequence test and the
upgrade (referred to has mtHVR2toMega) is USD$410.00.
My earliest known female relative is Sarah DODD (1808-1891) Born in
Finchley, Middlesex UK.
