Hello All,

Someone suggested that maybe this list might help me with understanding the results I received from an Ancestry DNA test. The follow findings were:

72% European
22% Native American
6% East Asian

My question is:

My Mother was German...my Father is Mexican and Japanese. I have spoken to my Father and he assures me that his Mother was full Mexican and his Father full Japanese.

Do these percentages read correct with what I have been told? I would assume that the Asian part would also be in the 20%s as is the Native American...so I am a bit confused.

If anyone can help me with understanding the results I would appreciate the help greatly.
