Haplogroups can only be confirmed by SNP (single nucleotide polymorphism)
testing. You will find the most up-to-date haplotree on the ISOGG website
showing the SNPs that define the various haplogroups and subclades:
http://www.isogg.org/tree/index.html
Ancestry don't offer any SNP testing and their haplogroup designation is
predicted based on the haplotype (the STR markers, ie the numbers you're
given for your Y-DNA test result). Family Tree DNA offer a SNP assurance
program. If they can't predict the haplogroup they will do a free SNP test.
All haplogroups shown in green on an FTDNA results page have been
SNP-tested. This ISOGG chart shows which companies offer SNP tests:
http://www.isogg.org/ydnachart.htm
It is however somewhat out of date, and note too that Family Tree DNA
acquired DNA Heritage back in April.
For haplogroup I you can try plugging your results into Jim Cullen's
haplogroup predictor:
http://members.bex.net/jtcullen515/haplotest.htm
You might also want to have a look at the websites of the various haplogroup
I and subclades projects for further information:
