I am looking for my great grandfather and his family. We do not know where he came from, or to where he went. There was a divorce and he just left the area. My grandfather would have lived in Crawford Co, WI. in the late 1880/90's. His name was Lewis A. Dodd. He married Regula Oppreight and they had 4 children.
Anna was first b. 13-May-1886. Then was Hazel (who only lived to be 4) b. 3-Oct-1888. Next in line was Theron b. 5-Apr-1889, and last for this marriage was Frances May (my grandmother) b. 12-May- 1896. I have been told my grandfather was a artist. He could paint a picture at the drop of a hat. We still have a sample of his work hanging in a family home here in Wisconsin. My grandmother went on to marry a man called Burton B. Bailey and had 2 more sons. Family gossip also has the Dodd family living in Scotland at one time and that the family was church builders there.
