Hello the DODD list.

this family below was listed in the Burleson county federal census for 1850
texas. IT shows that the parents came from alabama and the children mostly
born in arkansas. AND there is the man at the bottom of the list who is said
tobe a merchant? jonathan dodd of alabama was a gunsmith.

IS there any DODD researcher who knows this family? I am wondering where in
alabama the two parents are from? My family has a grandpa--jonathan dodd who
seems to just be all alone with out brothers, uncles, aunts, cousins--just an
island into himself in choctaw co. alabama. I am looking to find more family.
ALSO looking for connections in texas for the DODD bunch who left alabama and
went to texas, who first landed in san augustine and then spread out to
walker co. milam co and bandera counties. thanks for any ideas. judy
