Mattias, Mathias, is a given name and Petz is a family name.
On the film. Page 1, L-R.
January 30/1872 - Josephus (m) (the cross above Josephus indicates that he
died), legitimate-Mathias Rengen and Aloynia(?) Petz-Rom.Catholic.
page 2-L-R.
Breznica (house # 10)-Maria Rifting (Rilting?) Rom.Catholic.-then the name
of the priest- (+ 2/2. 872, indicates he died February 2, 1872).
