Franz,
I reread the replies "all under cabbage strudel and I am not sure if your question was answered regarding "Zwetschkenknoedel" - It doesn't sound like strudel to me but noodle. Are you referring to a fruit dumpling? I found a recipe online, it sounds good. Maybe someone can post an authentic Donauschwabish recipe.
Zwetschkenknoedel, Marillen, oder Kirschen Knodel http://world.std.com/~kcl/Rfruitdumplings.html

I haven't had Zwetchkeknoedel in 30 years, since my mother died. Does
anyone have a good recipe? I alos love Semmelknoedel and Paprikash!
Is there anyone on this board that originates from
Vukovar/Jankovci/Vincovci?
