Yes, it is bazaar, that I also have Scherer in another direct line. I wonder if where this Scherer was from. I have wrote her again and asked more questions.
Today I located online 3 Unterwegers in Banat, I called one of them in hopes someone there spoke English. A lady answered and I asked if anyone there spoke English and a man came to the phone, who spoke German. I tried my darnest to communicate with him, mentioning Unterweger, Ingrisch, Mercydorf, Pancota and so on and he would go on and on talking and in his sentences he mentioned all the above also. He couldn't understand me when I tried telling him I would call back on a 3 way call when I could get someone online to help translate. Finally I just had to say goodbye and hung up.
What frustration to not be able to communicate. I know I am on to something though and can't wait to see what develops!

Hi Jody -- that's wonderful that you received such a nice response. I know
you were probably hoping to get more information but at least someone tried.
Were you surprised to find the Scherer name association? Hope you get some
