To whom it may concern on the list:

I have wrote a few of you privately - some twice by accident, but I feel I
have left some out with how things went with my daughters wedding a couple
of weeks ago. So please delete this those who are not interested :-)

It was a beautiful day - sunny, but windy and cold. For the most part all
went wonderfully and my mom amazed me when she grabbed the mike from the dj
to sing along with "du du liegst mir in Herzen" to which many of our guests
joined in also, some only for the "ya ya ya ya" part. My daughter married
into a family of business people - they didn't quite know what to make of us
"peasants" - they actually thought it was very unique and were intrigued
with my parents long marriage and came to them to introduce themselves. My
mother just told me the other day that dad later felt bad because he didn't
think to go dance with his granddaughter. He said with the next one for
sure he will have to do that. Considering that a year ago my dad was waking
up in the morning saying "Mine Gott why am I still here" it was good to
hear him waiting for the next granddaughter to get married so he could dance
with her at her wedding (just wish I wasn't the one WITH that
granddaughter).

The flowers were beautiful also by the way - Sunflowers were never so
beautiful and worked well for my daughters theme. Ever since her teen years
her nickname has been sunflower and they were a bright and sunny addition to
this really great day along with the fall colored leaves we used for
confetti.

So now the big day has passed and I can get back to business at hand - and
with the free access to ancestry.com - it has been a great start to getting
back into action. I can't remember who wrote in about the GMA special, but
I really appreciated it.

Eve
